Often found in local drinking haunts, there are some evenings when the idea for a story arises from the simplest of situations, events or comments. The opening line from the play, ‘A Dragon's Tale’ for example stems from the outburst from a drunken Scotsman, complaining when someone tried to take his unfinished drink away from him! Minor change of wording, and suddenly there was the makings of fantasy based storyline. ‘Dimensions’ is strongly connected with his interest in Sci-Fi and Physics and what they offer as concepts for the ‘real’ world. ‘Warlord’ is something of a strange one. Very heavily futuristic, it looks at the world as financially ruined as great plans made by supposed great leaders have gone by the wayside.
